DIVING IN

I don't know what I am doing anymore - but I know one thing for certain - I am diving in head first!

With 200 catalogs, 200 catalog bags, 400 samples labeled and put in individual bags and then inside the catalog bag with the catalogs with the hubby outside being "Bob the Builder". I have 2 days left to finish getting everything ready and picking up all of the stock that my team members have GRACIOUSLY donated to me to use this weekend at Gymnastics finals at Texas Woman's University - I begin to wonder when I will actually get the time to sleep.

Oh well, on to the next step - Stepping off the board, and that's when I am in it for good! There will be no turning back - there will be setting up and preparing for the next morning and praying that I got it all right.

Waiting patiently for that SPLASH - that's when the sigh of relief will come - I did it - and it wasn't so bad! I hope!

Have You Labeled Lately?

Good Monday Morning -

After another eventful week and weekend I thought I would drop in some more information to you.

Labels! What do you label with your business information on it? I hope EVERYTHING!!! If it is Scentsy - it needs a label. Put your information on EVERYTHING! That way people can find you when they need MORE!

Where to put your labels?

Warmers & Plug-Ins: On the back of the box there is a bar code and a space that tells you to contact Scentsy for more infomation. Put YOUR label there.

Bars & Bricks: Open the lid and put it on the inside.

Car Candles: On the back, but do not cover the warnings.

Room Sprays: On the side - you may want to go with a smaller label for this one because a larger one tends to cover the a little of the Scentsy Logo.

Tins: I have not seen one yet (I just ordered some and I am really excited about it), so I am not sure where to tell you to put your labels. Does anyone have an idea or suggestion on these?

Catalogs: On the back where it provides general Consultant information.

What information to have on your labels?
- NAME
- Phone number
- Scentsy Website
- E-mail address

If you do not have room for all of those - remember - your Scentsy website has a way for them to e-mail you!

Is there any other Label Options out there?
OF COURSE!!!!
- Ask me about how to join!
- Ask me about having a party (or basket party)!
- Ask me about having a Fundraiser!
- SPECIALS! (tell of any specials - for example - 10% off in the month of August!)

Please feel free to add anymore thoughts, ideas or suggestions! The more we know - the more we grow our Scentsy business!!!

Make it a Scentsational Week!!!

Practice Makes Perfect Scents

Good Evening All -

I hope that you had a wonderful weekend. I just wanted to share what I have learned over this weekend. In the next week, I have scheduled a "trade" show at the office and 2 home parties. I still haven't done a trade show yet, so I am a little nervous about what I needed to do and have displayed to get my point across. Not to mention the limited amount of space that I have to work in.

What I did was a "Dry Run" or a test set up for my show. I marked out about the amount of space that I will be using this week and I set it up like I was having my show. I set everything out - my drawing bowl, warmers, warmer of the month print outs, order forms, business cards, etc... I then took a picture of it and I posted it on my facebook (I post a LOT of Scentsy stuff on my networking sites and have had a LOT of orders off of it - I highly recommend doing so if you don't already). I started getting feed back from my downline and friends (via message on the site and text) about their thoughts. Should I add another warmer? I should have other items out there (which I forgot room sprays and car candles!!!! :O - not good). I made changes and took another picture and got more feedback. I have left this set up out (if you can) - and as I pass by it I look and assess how I like it.

If you do this at least 2-3 days before your big trade show (if not more) it will give you the chance to see what you missed as well as make your layout more appealing to the eye as well as give you a chance to see if you missed anything or if you need to get something else from the store or printed out! Then - the night before my show, I will package everything up that I know I will need and have it ready to go.

I hope this may help you one day!!! Have a Scensational week!!!!

Shipping - so you know!

So - you are about to ship your order or you already have, and something just was a little wierd on your shipping totals.

Hopefully - the following information will help!!!

Q. How much is shipping?
A.
Shipping is free for party orders of $150 or more in total retail sales within the contiguous U.S. For direct-ship orders to individual customers, and party orders less than $150, add 10%. For shipping to Hawaii, Alaska and U.S. territories add 10% for party orders of $150 or more. Add 20% for direct-ship orders, or orders under $150.

On business supply orders, shipping is free for orders of $30 or more. For business supply orders under $30 there is a flat $5 shipping fee ($10 for Alaska, Hawaii and US territories).

REMEMBER - delivery is usually within 2-3 weeks from when the order is SUBMITTED!!

If you tell your customers 2-3 weeks and their product gets delivered faster - they are even happier. Also, the beginning of the month and the last couple of days of the month tend to make the shipping times fall into the 2-3 week time frame instead of the 5-7 business days.

You can get this information from your Consultant Guide or when you log on to your consultant site. Click on business builders - scroll almost all the way down to "resources" and there is the 2009 Consultant Guide.

Extra Warmer?

Do you have an extra warmer just hanging around your house? Is it being used?

NOW YOU DON'T!!!!

If you do have an extra warmer, and it's not being used - PUT IT TO GOOD USE!!!! Take it up to your hair salon. Your nail salon. Your tanning place. Where you work. Where your husband/significant other/bff works. Your child's daycare or mother's day out. Leave it with them for a week with some books, an order form or two and a couple of business cards.

If you take a warmer up there - let them know that they can earn a "FREE WARMER" to put in place of yours. Give them a $$$$ amount to hit and if they do - let them pick the warmers of their choice! What's it going to hurt?!?!?!

Get your name out there. Remember how quickly you fell in love with Scentsy?!?!? Others will too!!!

Make today and everyday a Scentsational Day.

Scentsy Success

Hello Scentsational Scentsy Lovers!

I hope this message finds you well. I have been moving at lightening pace trying to make this a wonderful Fall with the new Scentsy catalog that is out. Please make sure to view my website and see all of the wonderful new things that are available thru Scentsy.

I have learned from my downline - and THANK YOU KELLY for this wonderful Blogging idea. You can't never stop learning in this field. You learn from those above you, those who have done this forever, and even beginners.

Scentsy has finally started opening doors. This is PRIME fundraiser time!!! Look for all of the football, soccer, baseball - heck - any organinze sport or band to need a fundraiser. This is a GREAT way to boost your sales as well as get Scentsy out there!!! Take a few minutes in your day to see if there are any schools that are having a bazar or carnival that you can set up a tent and raffel off a free warmer and bar!!! Even if it is just a fundraiser for new uniforms!

Also, take a book with you everywhere! If you are going to the store, getting your hair or nails done, EVERYWHERE!!! Leave one behind! Do you know how many people go into a nail salon in a week??!?!?!? Also, don't be scared to take one of your warmer stock to these places and leave it there for a week with your business cards or a catalog. Weren't you hooked when you smelled the good stuff!

GOOD LUCK!!! And I will hopefully be blogging more soon (this is all new to me!!)!!! :D
